The ride to Choc

I had brain surgery to remove the tumor on January 23, 2017.  The surgery took about 2 hours and the best news we received, was the tumor was a stage 2 benign gangliaglioma.

There are always risks with brain surgery, and we expected some physical challenges post tumor resection.  The tumor was removed from my cerebellum which is responsible for motor skills, coordination and balance and a whole bunch of other functions.

It’s amazing to think I rode into the hospital  like I was going to school, and then the craziness took over.
