I had outpatient surgery/treatment on May 31 at San Antonio Hospital to treat some residual tumor tissue that was not removed from the initial surgery January 23. The procedure was Gamma Knife radiation treatment. This is a pretty non evasive way to treat tumors without the traditional radiation treatment that affect a lot of cells within your body.

The worst part of this procedure is you have to have a halo bolted to you head in 4 places so they can lock your head in the machine for the procedure. This procedure took a few hours, and I went home with no initial side effects.
